1) Turn the DVR off
2) Turn it on again
3) While the DVR is initializing, the front panel LEDs will blink.
4) When the front panel LEDs blink, poke the straightened paperclip into the unlabeled hole to the right of the HD/SD out selector.
5) Hold the switch until all the LEDs on the front panel are lit.
NOTE: When the DVR successfully resets to the factory default settings, all the LEDs on the front panel will flash five times.
6) Release the reset switch. All of the DVR’s settings at this point are at their factory default settings.

What is 960H technology?
960H is a new standard for CCTV cameras and DVR’s that provides high resolution images using advanced image sensors. 960H CCTV cameras can produce an image that is 960 horizontal and 480 vertical pixels large (960×480). CCTV cameras and DVR’s capable of recording at this resolution provide superior images that are 34% larger than D1 and more than 500% larger than CIF. Recording larger images provides a greater amount of image detail. Images are sharper and it is easier to distinguish objects that are close together. 960H creates a wide-screen picture that does not need to be stretched to fit wide-screen TV’s and monitors.
